Different Roots, Different Stories, One Conversation
Level Up Lounge is a cultural conversation and storytelling podcast under Isikhathi Sakho, created to bring people from different nations, cultures, religions and backgrounds together to share their stories, traditions, values and life experiences.

The platform will welcome guests from diverse communities, including Afrikaans-speaking South Africans, people of European heritage, African communities, Indian communities, Muslim communities, Chinese communities and many other cultural groups.

Through open, respectful conversations, we aim to explore what makes each community unique, including its language, traditional clothing, food, music, family values, customs, celebrations, history and heritage.

The podcast will create opportunities for elders to share their wisdom, cultural custodians to preserve traditions, families to tell their stories and young people to learn from generations before them.

Our purpose is not to compare cultures or promote one above another. Instead, we want to build understanding, challenge stereotypes, encourage mutual respect and celebrate the richness of our diverse society.

The Adopt a Legacy Impact Project invites individuals, families, businesses, organisations and cultural communities of all backgrounds to make a meaningful contribution to local communities.
Whether you are from an Afrikaans-speaking, European, African, Indian, Muslim, Chinese or any other cultural community, you are welcome to participate. Our goal is to bring people together through shared responsibility, cultural understanding and practical acts of kindness We believe that every visitor should leave behind something meaningful—a contribution that continues to benefit the community long after their visit.
How You Can Make a Difference
  • Plant a Cultural Heritage Garden:** Help establish a garden that celebrates indigenous plants, cultural heritage, environmental awareness and community pride.
  • Create a Creative Reading Corner:** Donate books, reading materials and resources to encourage a love of reading among children and young people.
  • Support Creative English:** Contribute to programmes that develop English communication, reading, writing, storytelling and confidence.
  • Donate a Cultural Instrument:** Help young people discover music by donating instruments and supporting cultural music education.
